Animal Prints--Hear Me Roar!

Animal prints--like toile, they're a classic.

They never go out of style.

They go with anything you put with them.

Beautiful as they are,

the general consensus seems to be

"a little goes a long way."

You don't want to look like the beast is wearing you!

Aren't these chic?

I'm actually ready for bifocals, but there are so many cute readers available, I haven't taken the leap yet. I found these last year at TJ Maxx. Since I can never have too many (a pair in my purse, knitting bag, beside the bed, beside my reading chair, in the car, you get the picture), I can justify having all of them!

I found this fabric just before the holidays. Because of the hectic holiday pace, I had to put it away for a while. Last weekend, I got busy with it.

Just because one's a knitter, doesn't mean one has to be sedate!

Twelve pocket circular knitting needle case.

Here is the most beautiful example of animal print. And these spots are right where they should be and stay.

That is the prettiest fabric and I love the case you made. You could share that at my party, too.

I love the fabric, I actually have some in my closet and I haven't decided what to do with it. That photo of the stair case is to die for also.

I'm crazy about leopard too! Love that fabric and what you did with it. I have a leopard stair runner going up my stairs too--very similar to your image! What a fun post! ~Delores

Love what you did with fabric! Laughing at 'don't let the beast wear you'. And I could not mind taking the stairs so much if they were covered with a rug like the first photo. Oh, and readers - you'll find them every where here!

I love the post and your project. I agree a little goes a long way but I love me some leopard! I just added some leopard ribbon to my lamp shades in my living room and I love that little bit of "roar" it adds.

You were so smart to compare animal prints with toile. Your wild needle case is so fun. I'm swooning over your first photo! I'm so glad you linked up today!

Love the needle case! I don't think I have one bit of animal print in my house. And I want some too!
